How Rotino works

⌨️1

Type two random things

Anything goes, cactus + dinosaur, owl + toaster, grandma + robot. The weirder the combo, the funnier the result.

The trend, explained

So… what is Italian Brainrot?

It's the internet's silliest obsession: absurd AI cartoon characters with nonsense Italian-sounding names, sharks in trainers, crocodile-jets, ballerina-coffee-cups. It started as a joke and turned into a full-blown meme universe that people everywhere are remixing.

Rotino is your ticket in. Instead of just watching the trend, you make it: pick two random things, tap create, and out pops a brand-new brainrot creature with its own name and lore.

Good to know

Questions, answered

What is Italian Brainrot?

"Italian brainrot" is a wildly popular internet meme trend built on absurd, AI-made cartoon characters with silly Italian-sounding names, think a shark in trainers or a crocodile-jet. Rotino lets you join in by inventing your own from any two things you type.

How does Rotino work?

You type in two things, like "cactus" and "dinosaur". After you agree, Rotino sends them through our server to Google Gemini, which fuses them into one 3D creature with its own made-up Italian-sounding name and a one-line lore. Save it to Photos, share it, or keep it in your gallery.

Is Rotino free?

Rotino is free to download, and you get one free creation every day. If you want more, Premium is a weekly or yearly subscription that unlocks unlimited creations. There's no account to create and there are no ads.

What happens to the words I type?

Nothing is sent until you agree. Then your two words go through our server to Google Gemini to make your creature, and our server keeps no copy. Your creatures are stored only on your device. The privacy policy has the details.

Do I need an account or internet?

No account needed, just open the app and start. Rotino does need an internet connection to make each new creature, and everything you make is kept in the gallery on your device.

Is there an Android version?

Rotino is on iPhone and iPad today, in 30 languages. An Android version isn't out yet, but tap the "coming soon on Android" button and we'll gauge interest so we know how badly you want it.
